I dug into the obscure archives for this one. She's a villainess that debuted in Captain America but kept popping up for a while in other places, including a Power Man & Iron Fist's comic. She's a scientist that's infamous for screwing around with DNA and even cybernetics. She's also infamous for being behind the plot in the 'Capwolf' storyline (a continuation of her werewolf experiments from her debut issue). She was also lead scientist in Superia's army during the great Gruenwald Cap run in the 90's. Those are the issues that made me a bit of a Nightshade fan, but this pic has her in the outfit she debuted in instead of the catsuit with the thousands of spikes. If I ever get around to doing 'character redesigns', I'd like to hook Nightshade here up with one. I drew this back in Feb. but was never really satisfied with the face. I drew a new one in October, pasted it to the old version and feel a bit better about it now. After getting the PC back in better shape, colored it two months after that. Now I really like how it turned out, and that's rare for me.9th pic drawn of 2006. |
