I wanted another solo Nutroll picture, but I didn't want just another "standing around" picture. Oddly enough, I was trying to draw fan art of a completely different character who is known for carrying two pair of nunchaku, but the pose wasn't turning out right. The idea of a ninja armed with two nunchaku naturally turned into a slightly menacing picture of Nutroll being ready to beat someone with two rubber chickens and I'm sure this will be used as evidence against me when I'm eventually institutionalized for being filled with the crazy. This was right before All-Americon 2012, so I made a bigger version of the "Mr. Roll" symbol from the comic, added it as a background and managed to sell a few prints of it. |
