The skeletons were made for the 12th anniversary update of ScrollBoss because I wanted Death Adder to have some minions to chill with in the GFX Generators of the site. I'd never sprited skeletons before and liked how these turned out for a while. I even figured I'd make my later skeleton sprites with this look. Three months later, I made skeletons based on the ones in Castlevania and the results looked much better. The second head, er, skull looks more like the original Golden Axe sprite (seen in the WorkProg animation below) while the first just looks more menacing like a Ray Harryhausen skeleton miniature from Jason and the Argonauts. |
