the Thing (Marvel Comics) - 2002
Artwork by James Beaver

Other than artwork, another thing I'm semi-known for 'sprite edits' that are on my ScrollBoss site and a ton of Message Boards avatar banks. The point of using pre-existing sprites from Capcom is to make them appear as if Capcom themselves had made the character. But some characters are so unique, a mere edit won't recreate his look... especially The Thing. So this was my 2nd attempt to do a Thing sprite from drawn art and done before I learned that even Capcom artists don't draw all the detail before scanning and converting art into frame animation sprites. I made his legs a bit thinner and longer than they should've been hoping to make it easier that he bobbed up in down in his fighting stance. That made him a bit too un-Thing-like. I'll probably fix up that sprite someday.
