So the big deal with this update is that the teaser page for "Nutroll: the Illness" is finally uploaded. Even if you've already read the old one, check out the new one for more details. Nutroll: the Illness - the Teaser page There will be more teasers and short stories for my other characters this year. I also cooked up a quick pic to celebrate Illmosis getting 20,000 hits: Two.P from Final Fight, my character Twofold and the ring legend Mr. Wrestling #2. I'm sure you can figure out the theme there. I'd like to thank everyone who gave this place a shot over the years even when I barely ever updated. Thanks for all the hits and I'll try to keep wasting your time with my art!

I spent most of this week working on the new stuff for the teaser (more on that later) and cleaning up that Nutroll pic at a higher resolution than I usually do (over 6000 pixels tall!). I decided to hit you with a flat color version to show you how that's going. No, I'm not going to color that at 6000 pixels because my computer would gasp and wheeze if I did. To make up for how little newness this place has seen lately, I decided to draw a character that fits into the foolish month theme: Harley Quinn. She's the one with the mallet. About the teaser: If things go well this week, it'll be ready for next week's update. It's mostly background and lettering work now. Don't expect to see me on the 'net much as I work on this.

Another body-battering and soul-crushing week in real life for me means less newness on the site tonight. But look! What is this? Why, it's the black and white version of Nutroll's character profile picture! Seriously, do you know how much it bugs me when a main character's profile pic is crappier than those of his supporting cast? **glares at the Twofold section of the site** I'm straight-up killin' that noise this year starting with Nutroll. It'll be a while before you see this in full color since I'm cleaning a higher-res scan than I normally do. Yes, I'm still working on the new stuff that'll be in the teaser. Unless something stupid pops up again in real life this week, I should have time and a solid sleep schedule to start shading the art and then start on the tweaked background while getting some more character art done. We'll see. I've decided that I'm just going to stop right after I finish the teaser page. The fact that I lost the really good layouts of the first 3 pages after moving irks the hell out of me and I don't want to roll with the new ones that I just did. I'm going to give myself a bit more time to find the good stuff. What you'll get instead is a short comic that wll also be the introduction in a small comic that I plan to put together this year. If I haven't found the good page layouts after I've done the stuff for this book, then I'll restart the Illness with the new layouts. I should have some other sneaky Nutroll stuff ready for you by then to go along with it.
