The "NewNew Computer" is the first system I've had where I can use the Blender 3-D software and not have to worry about random freezes. I used Inkscape to vector trace the Illmosis logo, saved it as a SVG file then imported it into Blender. The hardest part for me was re-arranging the vertices (the points where lines connect) in a way that the bevel effect wouldn't warp things. I had to light this unnaturally in a way that I could render and shrink it for use on the site. This still needs work but it's good enough for the small site logos. |
