Other than the obvious movie reference, the copyright-dodging game cart is named Lunarus in honor of Rob's 'the Third Moon' site/board along with one of his favorite games, Gradius. The joystick being dropped, a last-minute addition, was based on Suncom's TAC-2 controller. It turns out that Rob owned one of these so I redrew it to make it look even more like a TAC-2. AND IT WAS HAUNTED!!! Naw, I'm just playin'. But he really did have one and that freaks me out. I've gotten some positive feedback on this one so far and I'm honestly proud of this one. |
