Here's the original (and my favorite) version of Ryu Hayabusa of the classic Ninja Gaiden (a.k.a. Ninja Ryukenden) games by Tecmo. The look is mostly based on the more detailed outfit from the box covers. Especially the wrist guards which have the design from Ninja Gaiden 2's box, but are red like those on NG1's box. That was a bit more detailed than his in-game sprite or cut scene pictures. This was for any futher stuff I'd have done with the 'Superninjas' VS. mode event at my ScrollBoss site as well as a character profile pic for the same site. Also, I like drawing ninja characters. It's just that simple, really. |
