I finally got around to drawing a Lego Blacktron minifig. For those who don't know, the Blacktron space theme is a fan-favorite of many 80's Lego maniacs. The opaque black visor made Blacktron minifigs were said to be menacing enough that the toy package photogs had to snap pics of them with the visors up and smiles showing. This picture shows a Blacktron soldier with a gray 'Megaphone' blaster as seen in this minifig pack.
I'm still trying to perfect my own minifig drawing style and this turned out much better than my Lego Batman picture mostly due to the legs. I still want to put the same level of shading detail into the Lego work that I do for my more serious work. Besides, Blacktron deserves nothing but 100% effort. |
