This was going to be the cover for my 2nd mini-comic. It was going to feature a story where Ace and M-Wave meet for the first time and would've finished with the five-page preview of that first Nutroll 'escape' story. It was also going to feature a framing story sequence by the Entity and have character profiles of some other characters. I actually have the entire thing done, but I never put it out. To thid day, I can't remember why. Oh, I remember now: because my art was crappy. Anyway, I still kinda like the way this one came out. This was back in the "marker and airbrush" coloring days and I had a decent handle on combining the mediums.BTW: M-Wave (in the black and yellow) was the first character that I ever created while the Entity (the robed figure with the glowing eyes) was the 2nd hero I ever created. Plus, this is another appearance of the Nutroll balloons in the form of water balloons. You know, I've got to find a place that'll print up those Nutroll balloons. They'd sell like... aw, who am I kiddin'. |
